A perfectly fitting glove is a goalkeeper's most important tool. Finding the right size and suitable cut can sometimes feel difficult, but we make it easy. We've compiled everything you need to know about glove cuts and sizing in this guide, so you're sure to find what you're looking for.
1. Choose the right size
Glove size is measured by the width of the palm. Measure your hand with a tape measure at the base of your four fingers (excluding the thumb) and consult the size guide below.
2. Get to know the cuts
The cut of the glove affects fit, feel, and durability. The most common cuts are:
Negative Cut
Negative Cut goalkeeper gloves have grown tremendously in popularity in recent years. They resemble the traditional Flat cut in that the palm is made from a single piece of latex, which connects to the backhand with finger gussets. The main difference is that the stitching and finger gussets are sewn on the inside of the glove. This provides a significantly tighter, more snug fit and gives a very "natural" and precise touch on the ball.

Roll Finger
Roll Finger is one of the most popular types of goalkeeper gloves. The backhand is connected to the palm without finger gussets, creating a rounded "rolling" shape around the fingers. This maximizes the latex surface area on the ball and improves ball control – however, the fit is looser than in Negative Cut.

Hybrid Cut
Hybrid Cut gloves combine the best features of different cuts. Our collection includes several hybrid cuts such as Hyla®, SL, Hyla SL, and Vortex, which offer excellent ball feel and a snug fit.
Hyla® Cut
Our popular Hyla® cut is a standard choice for many of our professional goalkeepers. It effortlessly combines the flat, smooth base of the fingers with seamless, rounded fingertips (roll finger). This creates unprecedented comfort and a natural, "cupped" shape that enhances ball control and provides sticky grip.

SL Cut
Our "SL" hybrid combines a negative lower finger section (approximately two-thirds of the finger length) which transitions into a rounded roll cut towards the fingertips (negative roll). This naturally creates a pre-curved shape perfect for catching and securely handling the ball. The rounded fingertips ensure that the latex optimally covers the edges of the finger.

Hyla SL
By combining our two most popular hybrid cuts, the "Hyla SL" offers a truly elite ball feel. The base of the fingers is flat and pre-curved, maximizing the latex surface and creating a cupped grip on the ball. The upper part of the fingers features the familiar negative-roll cut from the SL models.

Vortex Cut
"Vortex" combines the best features of several different cuts: incredibly precise control and maximum latex surface area. The two middle fingers are Flat, providing the best possible grip directly on the center of the ball. The outer fingers, on the other hand, use our popular SL design, which wraps around the finger for a snug fit on the edges of the ball.

Flat Palm (Traditional flat palm)
The Flat Palm style was one of the very first cuts on the glove market. In Flat Palm, the finger gusset stitching is on the outside, which makes the glove feel noticeably looser. It is known for its reliable and extensive latex surface area on the ball.

3. Consider the thickness of the latex
Latex is the most important material in a glove, and its thickness particularly affects feel and control. Thinner latex provides a better feel for the ball, while thicker latex offers more protection against impacts. For many goalkeepers, about 4 mm of latex is an optimal balance between these.
4. Do you need finger protection?
Finger protection gloves are an excellent choice for players with previous finger injuries or those who want to prevent them. Finger spines support the fingers from bending backward without significantly hindering ball handling feel. Available in children's and adult sizes.

5. Wrist strap or Strapless?
The wrist strap affects the tightness and fit of the glove. A strap that extends further up the wrist often provides a more secure fit. Our selection also includes Strapless gloves, from which you can completely remove the wristband or keep it in place. These are an excellent choice for players who want a freer feel on the wrist.
6. Choose your level
Gloves are designed for three different levels:
- Origin – For beginners. Durable latex, good grip.
- Advance – For amateurs. Premium latex, better grip and feel.
- PRO – For competitive and professional players. Same latex as the top players, maximum performance.
